Aussie and Burgundian reds

Friday afternoon drinks in the office.

2001 Clarendon Hills Grenache Blewitt Springs - smoky, musty, not great...

1999 Rusden Zinfandel Lodestone - surprising... lots of sweet fruit, grilled meats, a little smoke, even floral notes like a Cote-Rotie... eucalyptus and bacon fat.  Yum!

2006 Bernard Morey Chassagne-Montrachet Vieilles Vignes Rouge - nose very fruity, sweet, strawberries, almost bubble gum-like, mint... Palate still very tannic, short finish... not as good as the last bottle I had.
