This is still a work in progress as I upload tasting notes and wine labels from as far as 1999... Check back once in a while to get the updates.

Late night and Bordeaux

1992 Lynch-Bages - it's clear that this is a poor vintage, as it is very diluted.  A friend commented "not much 酒味".  It's crisp and smooth but not enough fruit.  Obviously the quality is reflected in the price.  Bought from Ponti for HKD 450.

1986 Cos d'Estournel - originally I had wanted to open the 1992 Mouton, but feared that it wouldn't be good enough, so out popped the cork and I prompted decanted the bottle.  Stopper was put on for about 20-30 minutes.  When I started to pour the wine, I sniffed and was amazed at the nose.  It was so intense and sweet, with loads of berries and fruit.  This was clearly a great wine.  It was more tannic than I thought and prefer but was intense.  Much more enjoyable than the Lynch-Bages.  Bought from DFS at Changi for SGD 202.

1996 d'Arenberg Riesling the Noble - this was much better than I remembered from April and May.  Really enjoyable.  Bought from Watson's for HKD 113.
