1992 Leroy
Dinner at a friend's home.
1992 Domaine Leroy Corton-Renardes - this was not bad. Nose was very nice and open, with black cherries and stewed prunes. Body was a bit lighter, and acidity slightly higher than the '93.
Bought from Fa Lan Ke in Taipei.

Chave, Leroy, Trotanoy
Dinner at a friend's home in Tokyo.
1993 Domaine Leroy Corton-Renardes - wow! This was definitely very good stuff. Really sweet, fruity nose. Glad I have a few more of these!
Bought from Farr for GBP 167.
1982 Trotanoy - what a disappointment. Nose full of wet chalk, not much fruit at all.
1990 Chave Hermitage Rouge - this was very good, performing up to expectations. Full-bodied with a wonderfully sweet nose of fruit and grilled meats.
