This is still a work in progress as I upload tasting notes and wine labels from as far as 1999... Check back once in a while to get the updates.

Prieuré-Roch and Tertre Roteboeuf

Drinking at a friend's home.

2011 Prieuré-Roch Vougeot 1er Cru "Pure", Fût B, bouteille 160/290 - fragrant nose with leather and ripe fruit. A little savory tapenade, and also a little floral. Lovely and alluring.

1990 Tertre Roteboeuf - drank 40 minutes after decanting. Nose was a little stewed and cooked. Kinda elegant, with a little hint of smoke. Nice on the palate and silky smooth. Probably past its prime, or at least this bottle was.
