This is still a work in progress as I upload tasting notes and wine labels from as far as 1999... Check back once in a while to get the updates.

Ponsot and Coche

After dinner drinks with friends.

2000 Coche-Dury Meursault - big nose of toast and roasted corn right off the bat.  Crisp acidity on the palate.  Notes of lemon citrus, but sweetness came out after a short while, showing a little vanilla and marzipan.

1997 Ponsot Clos de la Roche - first whiff showed cheese, possibly Comté, a little pungent.  Then black cherries, mint, and lots of dried herbs.
