Henri Giraud and Chapoutier

Dinner at Megan's Kitchen.

Henri Giraud MV15, dégorgée le 14 octobre 2020 - a little yeasty, with good depth on the palate.

2009 Chapoutier Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Bernardine - notes of leather and some fruit, kinda woodsy. Got some body here but fairly light. Pretty fragrant and easy drinking.

2001 Arietta Variation One - double decanted 2½ hours before drinking. Still a very big wine, with lots of coconut butter and vanilla, really sweet, a bit of leather. Beautiful fragrance and also on the palate.
